Wells Memorial School Speed Limit

The regular speed limit past Wells Memorial Elementary School in Harrisville is 30 mph. Please observe this and always drive cautiously in this area. Last year speed radars were installed to ensure that you are aware of your speed.

 

This is officially a SCHOOL ZONE, which means that when the yellow beacon lights are flashing – for 45 minutes in the morning during arrival and 45 minutes in the afternoon during dismissal – the enforceable speed limit is 20 mph.
